Inspire’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) are designed for individuals who have not found the desired success in other less intensive treatment regimens.
IOP is available three to four hours per day, and up to six days per week. PHP is available six to eight hours per day and up to six days per week.
These programs may be advised for one or more days per week depending on individual need and health status. Participants in IOPs and PHPs must be medically and psychologically assessed by the Inspire staff and it must be determined that this level of intensive care is medically and/or psychologically appropriate.
Factors that typically indicate the need for this level of care might include:
Programming for IOPs and PHPs are individually designed based on the results of Inspire’s initial and on-going assessments. Continual individual psychotherapy either within or outside the IOP/ PHP is a requirement of participation.
Programming typically includes a mix of individual and small group experiences such as lecture, discussion, psychotherapy process groups, family therapy, medication management and education, and experiential groups such as individual or group exercise training, yoga, meditation, movement therapy and shared meal/cooking experiences.
Treatment is conducted by a multi-disciplinary staff which can include physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, art therapists, registered dietitians, exercise physiology staff and others.
Inspire’s staff collaborate to utilize interventions and monitoring that best fit the needs of each individual participant. Length of time in treatment is individually determined.
